Luigi86101 Super Mario Maker

Super Mario Maker is a video game which allows players to create their own levels from the Super Mario series, and then publish those courses to the Internet for other players to experience. Players can base their courses on the gameplay, and visual style of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, and New Super Mario Bros. (Made using FL Studio) STAHP! STAHP HOLDING MY WALLET HOSTAGE! Hoo boy, Mario Maker 2 already!? The trailer alone was enough for me to give this an automatic. Legal: This website was developed for the community of Super Mario Maker 2 and is in no way associated, authorized, endorsed or connected with with Nintendo. The software and trademarks regarding Super Mario Maker 2, Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, New Super Mario Bros. U and Super Mario 3D Land are owned by Nintendo.

Just some advice: I've also noticed you made several edits trying to fit an image to an article. You should use the 'Show preview' button next to 'Save page' to see what your edits looks like before you confirm them. Also please remember to italicise game titles next time. Thanks, and keep contributing. MarioJC

In case you didn't know, you italicise by typing two apostrophes (not quotation marks) on each side of the title, or simply click the letter 'I' icon above the text box and type the name in. Don't forget to do this every time you mention a game title; Failure to follow writing guidelines like this is a level one offense and you'll receive a formal reminder if this happens again. If you need any help, just ask. MarioJC
 • Super Mario Maker is a 2D platforming and level creation game for the Wii U. It allows players to design and share their own 2D Super Mario courses, as well as view and play courses made by other creators. To build a course, players can use a variety of objects such as blocks, enemies and items. They can also set a theme and incorporate their course into the styles of four previous Mario games.
 • After all, Super Mario Maker 2 features new level styles, additional power ups, further terrain options, and plenty of fresh features that gives players even further creativity than ever before.
It's okay, I already knew that.

Aboutfile reminder[edit]

Hello, Luigi86101. Good job on your recent uploads. But when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the aboutfile template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded coding is shown below.

Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line of the variable(s) you don't use. If you do not wish to use the template at all, then it is acceptable to simply remove it before you upload the file. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using aboutfile incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Hello, please remember to format your preloaded aboutfile templates properly. When you upload a file, you will see that template. Fill out the appropriate sections, delete unused ones, and remember to categorize your images according to game (in Super Mario Maker images, add Category:Super Mario Maker Images to the end). You can delete the aboutfile altogether, but I recommend you learn how it works. It's not convenient for others to fix it for you whenever you upload images.Ray Trace(T|C) 21:14, 9 March 2016 (EST)

I see you are continuing to forget to fill out the aboutfile template. Please don't forget or I will get an admin involved. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 03:53, 14 March 2016 (EDT)

Italicising main text[edit]

Good work on the new article/s, but you're still missing italics for game titles in the main text itself. I noticed you got them for the headings and first/latest appearances because you were following the format of other articles, but when it comes down to writing info on your own with nothing to base it off of, you still need to do it. Please don't forget it. MarioJC

Sorry, didn't know you had to italicize the game titles in the main text.

You can change the title by typing this at the top of the page:

If by 'editing the title' you mean completely changing the title like I just did (Arrow Signs --> Arrow Sign), then you click 'move' at the top of the page and give it a new name. The 'DISPLAYTITLE' simply changes what's displayed in the title. MarioJC

Sigfix[edit]

Dear Luigi86101,

Your current signature is in violation of one or more of the rules listed on MarioWiki:Signatures. Please change your signature and keep the regulations and requirements in mind when creating future designs. If you have not made the appropriate changes within one week of receiving this notice, your signature will be changed for you.

As seen by the box below, your sig image is too big. It needs to be no larger than 35px to fit in the box.

Uh... does it fit now even though it's outside of the box? It'll fit if I could move it up a bit.Luigi86101 20:21, 14 March 2016 (EDT)
I hate to say it but there's one more problem: you can't have more than one .gif in your sig. You can have two static images or one .gif, but not both. I don't mean to feel like a nag, I just want to help you do better. J-Luigi(talk) 19:28, 24 March 2016 (EDT)
Anything else I need to fix... Luigi86101 21:41, 24 March 2016 (EDT)

RE: I'm not sure if this is only me but...[edit]

Whenever you bold or italicise, you always need to close them. So at the end of your userpage link in your signature, add </b> (or to make it much easier, just put three apostrophes on each end). As for Cannonball, it's missing two apostrophes at the end of the 'The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3' heading. Hope that helps! MarioJC

Oh, thank you! Luigi86101 23:51, 20 March 2016 (EDT)

Editing's been my main focus here so it's been a while since I exchanged userboxes. Here's mine. MarioJC

RE: Archive?[edit]

You move your talk page to 'User talk:Luigi86101/Archive 1', '.../Archive 2' etc. then remove the redirect that's left behind from 'User talk:Luigi86101' after the move. You can also just copy/paste from your talk page to a new archive page. MarioJC

On your userpage[edit]

You should probably fix your red links of the games on your userpage, as how MediaWiki links here are made for inside the wiki rather than outside. Depending on the game, you'd want to use Shovel Knight, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Pokémon Rumble World and so on. When you link games to outside, just follow what I coded in order to get your links display properly. We should have coding for all NIWA wikis, so in order to get the proper name, here is where you can get them, on the main page, linked here for your convenience. Hope you fix the red links.
